Detailed description of goods and/or services
Multiplus electrical (hereinafter referred to as “Multiplus Electrical Online”) is a LED wholesaler and distributor of premium Industrial, Commercial and residential LED lighting products for sale online for South African home and business owners.
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, processing of your order will vary between 2 and 5 working days and will only start once moneys reflect in our bank account. Shipping can take an additional 2 to 5 working days depending on your location and stock availability (Please note our back order terms). No orders will be processed sooner than specified. Once the order has been processed your will receive a notification that the order has changed to shipped. This means your order will be delivered by Fastway couriers to your shipping address! Multiplus Electrical Online will not accept responsibility for orders shipped that are delayed at the courier’s respective depots for any reason. Items are also dispatched in the appropriate shipping packaging to prevent any damage in transit. Delivery will be confirmed by way of email. This email will include the waybill number, process flow and means of tracking your order. Delivery is by road freight only. Any order of the product value greater than R1500-00 excluding vat will be delivered free of shipping charge to clients from South Africa and within the borders of South Africa. Shipping Charges: Your total cost for purchase of any product will include “shipping and handling charges”, shown on the Multiplus Electrical Online original invoice. These shipping charges are solely for the clients account unless otherwise stated. A quote to the client that does not state the shipping charges is deemed that the client will arrange his own shipping. Free delivery stated on the website is only for clients using the e-commerce interface through PayGate. Free delivery as stated on the website is to major cities in South Africa. The classification of a major city is solely at the discretion of Multiplus Online.
Occasionally we run short of stock on particular items and issue a “Backorder” on your invoice. This occurs when you placed an order for a particular product, but by the time it is processes we find that the item is temporarily unavailable. In this instance we will state your order as pending with a comment added that clearly explains that your item will ship once it has been restocked. Fulfilling back-orders generally takes 5-10 business days, if longer you will be contacted and given an option of Refund.
When you click to make a purchase with us legal obligations arise and your right to refund of monies charged to your credit card or paid in any other way agreed by us, are limited by our terms & conditions. You must not make any purchase through this site unless you understand and agree all our terms and conditions as displayed. Once payment is made for the purchase, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for such purchase. If you have any queries please contact us before making any purchase for any service through this website. You cannot cancel an order after it has been shipped. Should you attempt to cancel an order the charges will remain enforced.
We do not accept responsibility for an incorrectly provided shipping address entered by customers on their paid order. We cannot guarantee nor have any power over delivery dates.

Multiplus Electrical Online business hours are from Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. excluding any public holidays. Any orders placed on weekends or public holidays will only be processed on the following working day.

– Cancelling your Order / Returning Goods
At Multiplus Electrical Online we provide a seven (7) day period from the date you received your order where you can return your purchase to us should you not be 100% happy with your goods received. We charge a 15% handling fee as we’ll need to test the products to ensure that they are 100% new and all costs associated with returning the goods to us via courier are for the customer’s account. You will need to return your purchase in the original packaging and as new otherwise; Multiplus Electrical Online will not provide the requested refund. *Any return requests applied for after this 7 day period will not be valid.
– Return of Faulty Goods for Repair / Replacement
Because of the high quality and workmanship inherent in all LED Lighting products supplied, some returns (which are few and far between) end up being non-defective products due to either misapplication or use of the purchased item. Please note that should a product be returned as faulty and upon testing found to be fault free, the product will be returned to the Client COD and a test fee may be charged at the sole discretion of the Supplier. The product must be shipped to Multiplus Electrical Online at your cost. The units are tested and report given. If failure because of product issue then we repair and deliver back to you. If product failure because of surge/lighting etcetera, we quote for repairs and once paperwork is finalised we repair and after you pay the relevant shipping charges we deliver back to you. Process takes maximum 3 days internally once stock is booked in if we have the relevant part in stock.
– Product Guarantees
Multiplus Electrical Online guarantees to all end users that our range of LED products will operate substantially in accordance with the product’s specifications details on the Multiplus Electrical Online website, as printed on the packaging material or operating instructions, during normal use. All products are tested before shipping. All retail sales from the http://www.multipluselectrical.co.za/online/ are final at time of dispatch (except under order cancellation or special arrangement). Products may be returned for repair or replacement to Multiplus Electrical Online within the product’s assigned guarantee period (see the guarantee period within the specifications of your desired LED product). The Client must pay all shipping costs associated with returning the product for any repairs or swap outs. If damage was caused by anyone or anything other than part failure or damage in transit, repair cost will be quoted and billed to you and must be paid in full before work begins. Expressly excluded from this agreement are batteries or any other peripherals.
– On-site Repair, Carry in Repair or Return Shipping
The Client is responsible for shipping and insurance costs associated with the return of the product to Multiplus Electrical Online. Multiplus Electrical Online will be responsible for the payment of shipping costs of the return back to the client should the product be found to be faulty. Should the warranty service require the replacement of a component part, these items will become the property of Multiplus Online. The replacement component part will be new, or equivalent to new once repaired, meeting quality standards. The warranty remaining on the original unit is assumed on the replacement unit or replacement parts. If the product is returned during the limited warranty period, but the problem with the product is not covered under the terms and conditions of this limited warranty, you will be notified by the Manufacturer and given an estimate of the product repair cost, plus shipping charges. If the estimate is refused, the product will be returned freight collect unless we are instructed in writing to do otherwise. If the product is returned after the expiration of the limited warranty period, the Manufacturer’s normal service policies shall apply and you will be supplied with a written estimate of the repair costs plus for shipping charges.
– Not covered under Guarantee
This guarantee only covers normal use in an intended environment. This guarantee does not cover any user-installed peripheral devices, dealer or user-installed pc boards or any other components. Use of a power supply other than that provided connection of product to any other power source other than what is specified and connecting the unit to any electrical outlet not properly grounded. This guarantee does not cover the failure of the product due to inadequate maintenance, misuse of the product, improper installation, improper return shipping or general neglect. This guarantee does not cover disasters such as fire, flood, lightning, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes or any other natural disasters. Any servicing of the product by the owner or an unauthorised technician is not covered by this guarantee. The guarantee does not cover for electrical surges where Surge Protection devices are not installed. Proof of surge protection devices will be required if the fault is due to that reason. The guarantee and remedies expressed above are exclusive and in lieu of all other express or implied guarantee including, but not limited to, the implied guarantee of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Some laws do not allow the exclusion of implied guarantees. If these laws apply, then all express and implied guarantees are limited to the one year period expressed above. Any statement or representations made by any person, company or firm are void, unless stated above. Multiplus Electrical Online will not be responsible or liable for any loss, inconvenience or damage including direct, special, incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use their products, whether resulting from breach of warranty or any other legal theory or opinion.

Placing a product in a shopping basket or adding it to a wish list without completing the purchase cycle does not constitute an agreement of sale and/or an order for such product, and as such, Multiplus Electrical Online may remove such product from the shopping basket or wish list if stock becomes unavailable and you cannot hold Multiplus Electrical Online liable if such product is not available when the purchase cycle is completed at a later stage.
Multiplus Electrical Online shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be deemed as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:
Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard through Paygate on the ecommerce interphase or you can pay through EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) on the website.
Credit card acquiring and security
Credit card transactions will be acquired for Multiplus Electrical Online via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for Standard Bank of South Africa. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by Multiplus Electrical Online separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za
Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction Currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
The most popular method of payment on Multiplus Electrical Online website is EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer or internet banking; also includes direct and cash deposits).
EFT can take up to three working days waiting period for funds to be cleared when the payer and receiver bank with different banks. EFT also requires manual reconciliation; sometimes, payers use references that make their payment impossible to match with their purchase (a problem compounded by the different terminology presented by each bank to payers when making EFT payments). If any of the info, references, and account numbers is wrongly used by you the client, it is up to you to proof that we the vendor received our monies. Absolutely no responsibility will be taken by Multiplus Electrical Online for wrong info input on the client’s side.
When clients opt to pay using the EFT option upon completing orders through the Multiplus Electrical Online on-line system, the status of the payment on the orders is set to “Confirmed by shopper”. Once Multiplus Electrical Online changes the status to confirmed, the client will receive an email notification with the EFT banking details. Payment needs to be done by the client according to detail forwarded in the notification email. Once the client has completed his/her payment they need to email the proof of payment to email@example.com Please note that Multiplus Electrical Online will NOT process/ship any order on a proof of payment. Only once the money is cleared in our bank account will we start to process the order further. On clearing of funds the client will receive a mail notification that the shipping process has started and once the couriers pick up, the Status of your order is changed to “Shipped” and you can check the status/progress of your delivery on the Multiplus Electrical Online site. http://www.multipluselectrical.co.za/online
The advantages EFT for Buyers include:

-There is nominal 3% charge for the service.
Multiplus Electrical Online takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
